Senior Technical Animator

We’re looking for Senior Technical Animators to join our team.

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Technical Animator you’re an expert in rigging and skinning for games.

You’ll use your expertise in character articulation, animation technology, game development and software languages and packages to enable animators to achieve their goals.

You’ll be able to take high-level creative direction and estimate, schedule and execute relevant tools/work depending on the stage of the creative process.

You’ll also mentor more junior technical animators, character artists and animators – working collaboratively across the team to ensure the best possible workflows and ideas are professionally presented and realised in-game.

What we’re looking for

  • Expert Rigging and Skinning
  • Combat animation specialist – with experience on AAA titles a plus
  • Keyframe expert
  • Human & Creature expert
  • Experience with Mocap data
  • Experience with Facial animation¬†
  • Maya expert, but can use a range of tools and scripting if needed
  • Works with other crafts to bring the best out of the game (engineering/character/weapons/vfx/costume/world)
  • Unreal Engine experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the latest procedural, motion matching, machine learning techniques a plus
  • Cinematics experience a plus
